About Language Center Registration
Thank you for your interest in our classes. If you are experiencing difficulties with registration, please email [email protected] or call (212) 715-1269 or (212) 715-1293 for assistance. The Language Center office is available by email and phone on weekdays, 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM ET.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are accepted until 12 pm ET on the business day before the course or workshop begins (for online Shodo courses, until 12 pm ET on the business day before coursework begins). The Language Center’s business days are Monday – Friday, except for most federal holidays. After this deadline, cancellations are not accepted and tuition is not refundable or transferable for any reason (including for credit). Upon cancellation, the tuition paid minus a service charge ($20 for courses, $5 for workshops) will be refunded. Cancellations are only accepted via phone.
Course Changes and Missed Classes
If a student needs to switch course levels after the semester has begun, it may be possible pending availability and must be for a different course during the same semester. We do not record online classes, and recording of online classes is prohibited. If a student misses a class, arrangements for a make-up class can be scheduled when possible.
Japan Society’s Right to Cancel
Japan Society reserves the right to cancel any course or workshop due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to insufficient enrollment. Enrolled students will be refunded 100% of the tuition paid without incurring an additional service charge.
Additional Policies
Japan Society does not record online classes and students are prohibited from recording any of Japan Society’s classes. Language Center courses, workshops, and events are designed for adults aged 18 and above.
By registering for a course, you certify you have read and agree to all of the terms and policies mentioned above.

お申込みをキャンセルしたい場合
授業料は一度納められましたら、開講日前日の午後12時以降、返金いたしません。それ以前の返金に関しては、20ドルのサービス料金が課されます。キャンセルの場合は、お電話で（212-715-1269）ご連絡ください。メールでのキャンセルはご遠慮願います。
中止の場合
受講者が十分に集まらない場合、クラスはキャンセルとなります。その場合、すでにご登録・お支払いを済まされている方には全額返金いたします。

このクラスは16歳以上の方が対象です。
クラスの録音・録画はご遠慮願います。
