Culture & Community
Japan Society’s Culture & Community programming looks to both Japan’s past and future with unique lectures, workshops, tastings and experiential events. Our goal is to be a guide to Japan’s traditional and popular arts at Japan Society and around NYC – and to bring diverse audiences with an interest in Japan together. From casual fans taking their first step toward Japan to seasoned travelers and trendsetters, we present a range of programming spanning anime, books, fashion, food, games, sports, manga, music and more. Discover Japan with us!
Become a Japan Society member and enjoy 20% or more off on Culture & Community programs, including our Annual Sake Tasting, and access to other members-only events.
