For 30 minutes during our October 29th event, special guest Hiro-sensei will demonstrate modern calligraphy. Hiro-sensei transforms calligraphy into a variety of artwork through a theme of her own called “Impressive Calligraphy”, which is derived from the traditional culture called Shodo. Ranging from basic letters to avant-garde works, her expression covers various styles, comes from out of the box thinking, and carries strong messages.

After the presentation, we will move into breakout rooms grouped by level to chat.

Admission: This is a free event, with advance RSVP required.

Further event details, including the Zoom link, will be sent the morning of the event.
