A child-friendly theatrical performance introduces Japan’s famous Tanabata legends (Hikoboshi and Otohime) in an interactive setting with songs and dances by performers from Theatre Arts Japan-KIDS-, directed by Eriko Ogawa. Afterward, families will make paper ornaments and their own traditional tanzaku, thin paper strips for writing wishes and to hang on bamboo branches with actors.

Recommended for children ages 3-10 and accompanying adults.
