Private Luncheon with Mr. Takehiko Matsuo, Vice-Minister for International Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI)
Please Note: This event is only available to Japan Society corporate members at the Executive Circle and above.
The landscape of global trade continues to change, as the U.S. and Japan continue their negotiations on tariffs and trade policy following Liberation Day. Given this, Japan Society’s Business & Policy Forum will host a private luncheon with Mr. Takehiko Matsuo, Vice-Minister for International Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). In this exclusive session, Mr. Matsuo will discuss U.S.-Japan economic relations, particularly Japan’s stance towards the Trump administration’s trade and tariff policies. This luncheon offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into current trade dynamics and how Japan is navigating this shifting landscape, as well as to engage directly with the speaker.
Speaker:
Takehiko Matsuo, Vice-Minister for International Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI)
