Shio, a privileged music student and daughter of a great opera singer, meets Moe, a poor opera student who will stop at nothing for success. When Shio’s family is bankrupted, she enters an opera-singing contest to win a music scholarship, only to have Moe sabotage her performance and steal the prize. This story of fierce competition of talent, love, and, attention between two girls is the second manga adaptation for director Shusuke Kaneko (Death Note, 2006; Japan Cuts 2007).
