Celebrate the tenth anniversary of openhousenewyork’s annual city-wide architecture festival at Japan Society, New York City’s youngest landmark. Free programs throughout the weekend include building tours, origami workshops basic language classes, shodo calligraphy instruction, Zen meditation and more. Participants also receive complimentary admission to Japan Society’s major fall exhibition Silver Wind: The Arts of Sakai Hōitsu (1761-1828).

All events are free and open to the public. Any reservations for workshops or classes must be made in person on the day of the event; no advance reservations are accepted. Admission is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
