Not held at Japan Society – New York-Tokyo Film Festival

Once again, New York-Tokyo sets the pace by presenting their first annual New York-Tokyo Film Festival premiering movies from the cutting edge of Japanese cinema.

The festival includes a screening of Larry and Andy Wachowski’s animated exploration of the Matrix universe, The Animatrix, Sogo Ishii’s Electric Dragon 80000 V (DTS screening) and selections from various genres of Japanese film from J-horror to manga and anime.

Held at Tribeca Grand Hotel, 2 Avenue of the Americas, NYC.

Discussion with Dai Miyazaki, producer of many manga and J-horror films, with clips from his works Ichi the Killer, Uzumaki, Blue Spring, and his newest world premieres Revolver and 1/Ichi.
