Watanabe plays Saseki, a 50-year-old ad executive whose life is practically perfect. But one day he has trouble remembering names and his wife forces him to go to the doctor. What he receives is a devastating diagnosis: he has early-onset Alzheimer’s and there is no cure. In this very personal film, Watanabe delivers one of the most remarkable performances of his career.

Produced and starring Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Letters from Iwo Jima), Memories of Tomorrow has earned eight awards and was one of Japan’s top box office hits of 2006. Q&A with Ken Watanabe will follow the screening.
