Japan Society and the National Building Museum present a panel discussion with Takaharu Tezuka of Tezuka Architects in Tokyo and Hitoshi Abe of Atelier Hitoshi Abe in Sendai.  The discussion examines how the pursuit of technology, materials and aesthetics in contemporary architecture is influenced and inspired by traditional design methods. Clifford Pearson, senior editor at Architectural Record magazine, will moderate.
