Japan Society and Chicago Architecture Foundation present a panel discussion with Takaharu Tezuka of Tezuka Architects in Tokyo and Hitoshi Abe of Atelier Hitoshi Abe in Sendai.  The discussion examines how the pursuit of technology, materials and aesthetics in contemporary architecture is influenced and inspired by traditional design methods.  Dana Buntrock, Associate Professor of Architecture at the University of California at Berkeley, will moderate.
