All Under the Moon, which received all the major Japanese film prizes in 1993, is a hilarious comedy featuring a Korean-Japanese cab driver who falls in love with a Filipino bar hostess working for his mother. Director Yoichi Sai, himself Korean-Japanese, vividly recreates multi-cultural Tokyo scenes. Presented in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the film’s production and its subsequent U.S. premiere screening at Japan Society.
