In this lesson of Waku Waku Japanese, Konomi teaches you words and phrases that are used when talking on the phone in Japanese!
Moshi moshi – hello (only used on the phone)
O-genki desu ka? (genki?) – how are you?
Dou shimashita ka? (dou shita no?) – what is it?
Arigatou gozaimasu (arigatou) – thank you
Sayounara – goodbye
So next time you answer the phone, try using "moshi moshi" and these other Japanese phrases!
