Voices of BLEACH: A Fireside Chat with Ichigo and Uryu

Join VIZ Media at Japan Society for a very special evening with Ichigo Kurosaki and Uryu Ishida voice actors Masakazu Morita and Noriaki Sugiyama! Coming to NYC to celebrate the launch of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3, both legendary voice actors will take the stage to introduce an early preview screening and a very rare live script reading.
General Admission tickets provide entry to the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War screening and script reading, along with a tote bag, lanyard, and poster. VIP tickets also include an exclusive BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War print and entry to autograph signings with both Morita and Sugiyama.
7 to 8 PM: BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 3 Episodes 1-3 Screening, including the Premiere of Episode 3
8 to 8:30 PM: Morita and Sugiyama on-stage conversation and live script reading
8:30 to 9:30 PM: VIP Only autograph signing with Morita and Sugiyama. VIZ Media will provide all VIP attendees with an exclusive BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War print. Both voice actors will sign this special print. Morita and Sugiyama will not sign other items.
About Masakazu Morita
Masakazu Morita made his voice acting debut in 2001 as the protagonist Tidus in the video game Final Fantasy X. His notable roles include Ichigo Kurosaki in BLEACH, Shin in Kingdom, Barnaby Brooks Jr. in Tiger & Bunny, and many others. He also works as an actor, stage performer and narrator, among other activities.
About Noriaki Sugiyama
Noriaki Sugiyama gained widespread recognition for voicing Sasuke Uchiha in NARUTO. His other notable roles include Shirou Emiya in Fate/stay night and Uryu Ishida in BLEACH, and many others.

Lauryn Alexandria (AKA Toastymarshmellow) is a singer, actor and nerdy Black content creator based in NYC. Creator of “Nerdstyle” (lifestyle for nerds), Toasty is an explorer of all things nerdy, including anime, gaming, fashion, voice acting, travel destinations, tech, the arts and more. As a live host, Toasty hosts for companies such as LEGO, Red Bull and Sony Music Japan as well as her own monthly mixer event titled Weeb Mingle. Toasty’s passion for community outreach extends past the online space in an effort to break down the “shut-in” stereotype by encouraging the nerdy community to TOUCH GRASS! With a growing audience, specifically women of color, Toasty strives to be a role model to women and girls while pushing the boundary of what it means to be a geek, gamer and Otaku.
ABOUT BLEACH from VIZ
BLEACH is a smash-hit sword-battle action manga that ran in the pages of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 2001 to 2016. Since its debut, the 74-volume manga series has received tremendous support from fans, selling over 130 million copies worldwide. The series was also adapted into an animated TV series that aired in Japan from 2004 until 2012 and that included four feature films.
Part 1 of the new animated series Thousand-Year Blood War, based on the manga’s final arc, premiered on the TV-Tokyo Network in October 2022. Part 2, titled BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Separation, premiered in July 2023. Part 3, titled BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict, premieres in Fall 2024. The new series features updated character visuals and animation that surpasses the previous series. The popularity of BLEACH continues to grow as it receives strong support not only in Japan but across the world.
