Vocabulary:
Irasshaimase! Douzo – いらっしゃいませ!どうぞ。
Welcome! Please come in.
Sumimasen. – すみません。
Excuse me.
Menyuu onegai shimasu. – メニューおねがいします。
Please bring the menu.
Hai. Kashikomarimashita. – はい。かしこまりました。
Yes. Certainly.
Shou shou omachi kudasai. – しょうしょうおまちください。
Please wait for a little while.
Waa, oishisou! – わぁー、おいしそう!
Wow, looks delicious!
Itadakimasu. – いただきます。
Let’s eat.
Osusume wa nan desuka? – おすすめはなんですか?
What would you recommend?
Okanjou onegai shimasu. – おかんじょうおねがいします。
The bill, please.
Gochisousama deshita. – ごちそうさまでした。
That was a delicious meal.
