Equally known for his work on John Ford as Ozu, this rare talk event features a discussion on Hasumi and Ford with acolyte Sho Miyake, 2025 winner of Locarno’s prestigious Pardo d’oro, followed by a brief recorded lecture and rare screening of Miyake and Hasumi’s John Ford montage film.
