Okinawan Dance Workshop for Families

Led by performers from Waves Across Time: Traditional Dance and Music of Okinawa, this in-person family workshop explores not only the stylized movements and gestures of Okinawa’s traditional court dances and zo odori (popular folk dances), but also the beats and sounds of Okinawa’s iconic music. Participants will get a chance to see the performers’ costumes and musical instruments up close.

Single ticket: $15/$12 members
Family ticket: $40/$32 members

Max. 20 participants. For children 5 years and older. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that a Family Ticket only covers four (4) persons. For additional persons in your family, please purchase a Single Ticket. Participants must wear socks and workout attire. No prior dance experience necessary.
