Not Held at Japan Society – Hanami Anime Festival at Brooklyn Botanic Garden

Hanami Anime Festival will screen Japanese animation at the 23rd annual Sakura Matsuri—cherry blossom festival. Titles include Sailor Moon, Magic User’s Club, Pretear, His & Her Circumstances, Magic Knight Rayeart, Fruits Basket and the critically acclaimed anime Spring and Chaos from director Shouji Kawamori (Macross & Escaflowne). All screenings will be from 10 am – 3 pm in the BBG’s Auditorium. Seating will be on a first-come, first serve basis.
