Nihon New York – Episode 04.3: hANGRY&ANGRY: Interview at NY Anime Fest

Gashicon is an illustrator/designer for H. Naoto, and is most famous for her original cat characters Hangry & Angry. Since creating the brand along with Hirooka Naoto, Hangry & Angry have appeared on clothes, accessories, comics, and a variety of toys. This interview took place during her first visit to New York City. Rika Ishikawa is a pop singer best known for her stint in Morning Musume, the all-girl group phenomenon that has been a defining presence in J-Pop since 1997. Since 2008, she has been a member of the pop rock duo Hangry & Angry, based on the characters created by Gashicon. Rika plays Angry, a feisty Gothic Lolita.
