The premium sake known as daiginjo is widely held to be the pinnacle of the Japanese brewer’s art. Because of the cost and labor involved in its production, such sake is prized even in Japan itself. The program features a discussion on the ultimate sake brewer’s art followed by a special sampling of some of the best nama (unpasteurized) daiginjo from all over Japan.
