An exhibition of photos taken in the Tohoku region of Japan by the Photo Department of Nikkei Inc. in the immediate aftermath of the March 11 earthquake and tsunami and during the ongoing recovery. “Before and after” pairings vividly illustrate the human tragedy of this huge natural disaster and the optimism and resilience of local people as they struggle to rebuild their lives. A video of the work of Japan Earthquake Relief Fund grant recipients will also run.
