A powerful political thriller based on the unsolved 1973 incident in which the KCIA kidnapped Korean opposition leader Kim Dae-jung from his Tokyo hotel room. In this Korean-Japanese co-production, director Junji Sakamoto depicts a drama of friendship and betrayal involving a Japanese Defense Army officer, a Korean agent, a Japanese journalist and a Korean-Japanese youth hired as Kim’s bodyguard.
