William Minor, jazz writer and author of Jazz Journeys to Japan: The Heart Within (2004), explores the life and work of Yamashita, one of Japan’s most important and individualistic jazz musicians.
Followed by a booksigning.
Held in conjunction with the Yosuke Yamashita New York Trio: Pacific Crossings performances at Japan Society.
