Saturday, October 5 at 11 am

Learn about the unique mechanics of bunraku in this closer look at Japanese traditional puppetry, led by members of Japan’s National Theatre! Master puppeteers will demonstrate key techniques of one-person and three-person puppet manipulation in bunraku theater, and participants will have the opportunity to try operating puppets themselves.
