Sunday, December 16, 2 PM

Image-in-Focus is Japan Society’s gallery talk series, featuring energetic, 25-minute conversations with specialists from a wide range of fields, offering their unique perspectives on select highlights from our exhibitions. Drop by on Sunday, December 16, for a conversation with Roland Augustine (Principal, Luhring Augustine) on his three-decade long friendship with exhibition artist Yasumasa Morimura.

Roland Augustine is a New York-based gallerist and art dealer, who co-founded Luhring Augustine Gallery with Lawrence R. Luhring in 1985. His gallery focuses on representing established international contemporary artists. He has organized over 200 exhibitions and placed works of art in all of the major museums and private collections of Europe and the U.S.

Free with admission to the exhibition. Talks are limited to 30 attendees, on a first-come, first-served basis.
