Hiroyuki Takenaga, a columnist and publisher of Shukan Nuts, has been writing about the Japanese community in New York City for the past ten years. Based on his first and recent book Living New York Does Not Make You Happy, and on his own personal experiences, Mr. Takenaga will share his observation of the Japanese living abroad, his analysis of “New York Disease”, and discuss how we can create a better Japanese community in the City.


Followed by a reception and booksigning. In Japanese.
