Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation can rightly boast of creating the next-generation regional jet featuring cutting-edge technology – the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ). Exactly what technologies are leveraged to realize top-class operational efficiency, outstanding cabin comfort, and significantly lower fuel consumption, noise & emissions? Moreover, what impact will the MRJ’s entry into the 70~90 passenger regional jet market have on the travel industry which is projected to see the number of air passengers triple over the next 20 years? In his lecture, Hideo Egawa, Chairman and CEO, Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, will speak about the main factors behind the company’s decision to enter the highly competitive commercial aviation manufacturing industry, the company’s views on working together with American firms, and Mitsubishi Aircraft’s business strategy for flying into the future.

Corporate members are entitled to a designated number of free admissions to this event, based on their company’s current membership level. These reservations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the event. Additional corporate registrants and Japan Society individual members at the Patron Circle level and above pay the discounted corporate member rate of $45 for lunch and lecture, $10 for lecture only. Nonmember admission: $65 for lunch and lecture, $15 lecture only. The academic and government admission rate is $30 for the luncheon and $10 for lecture only. When payment is required, prepayment must be made, or registration secured, with a credit card. All registrations and cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the event.
