Family Art Day: Inspiration from Women of Fluxus
Our latest exhibition will inspire creative fun for the whole family! Guided by a museum educator, families explore and discuss iconic art works by the four Japanese female artists in Out of Bounds: Japanese Women Artists in Fluxus, an international avant-garde art movement from the 1960s. After gaining inspiration in the gallery, families will become artists themselves with a Fluxus-inspired art-making activity.
Tickets: $10/$5 Japan Society members; children ages 2 and under free. Limited free tickets available for Cool Culture members. Advance ticket purchase required. Limited to 30 participants. Recommended for children ages 5-10 and accompanying adults. This event will be photographed.
