Doll Festival: Hinamatsuri

Come see our beautiful collection of intricately decorated Hinamatsuri dolls, known as hina-ningyo, and learn about the songs, tradition and history that surrounds Hinamatsuri, a festival which celebrates the health and future happiness of young girls. After examining the hina-ningyo, try your hand at creating your very own doll during the hands-on arts and crafts portion of the event!
Recommended for children ages 3-10 and accompanying adults. Boys are welcome to participate.

Tickets: $12/$5 Japan Society members; children ages 2 or under free. Corporate and individual member families may purchase tickets at the discounted price.
