Due to sexual content this film is recommended for adults only.  1969, 86 min., 35mm, color. Directed by Yasuzo Masumura. Based on the story by Rampo Edogawa. Written by Yoshio Shirasaka. With Eiji Funakoshi, Mako Midori, and Noriko Sengoku. Print courtesy of The Japan Foundation with permission from Kadokawa Pictures, Inc.

The blind sculptor, Michio, has dedicated his life to sculpting women’s body parts based on his sensory memory of his massage clients. One day, he successfully imprisons Aki, a perfectly proportioned woman, in his apartment. What Aki encounters is a secret chamber, filled with sculpted objects of female eyes, ears, breasts, thighs and hands. Michio now embarks on a quest for the world’s first “Sensory Art.” Although initially resistant, Aki is gradually seduced by a world of sensory stimulation.
