This documentary chronicles nine intellectually disabled youths as they train to film the 2005 Nagano Special Olympics World Winter Games. After training for six months, the crew approach their tasks with great sensitivity and intensity, fully aware that their subjects, the international Special Olympics athletes, struggle against the same obstacles they face. In a country where people with disabilities have long been prevented from participating in public life, the determined members of this crew stand defiant.
