2015 Japan Society Gallery Benefit Auction
Join us at the third annual Gallery Benefit Auction featuring exceptional contemporary and traditional works by Japanese artists and others deeply influenced by Japan, such as Yayoi Kusama, Mariko Mori, Daidō Moriyama, Kohei Nawa, Hiroshi Sugimoto, and Utagawa Kuniyoshi. The evening consists of a reception and viewing, a live auction conducted by Henry Howard-Sneyd, Vice Chairman of Asian Art, Americas at Sotheby’s, a silent auction, and private access to the Society’s spring exhibition, Life of Cats: Selections from the Hiraki Ukiyo-e Collection. Proceeds from the event will support Japan Society Gallery exhibitions, public programs, and educational initiatives.
