K-12 educators have the unique opportunity to take a guided tour designed with their specific needs in mind of the gallery exhibition The Sound of One Hand: Paintings and Calligraphy by Zen Master Hakuin and then participate in a hands-on workshop on the basics of sumi ink painting. Participants finish the day by working together to create teaching ideas and materials to bring back to their classrooms.
