Polls and pundits are increasingly predicting a victory by the opposition Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ) when Japan holds its general election on August 30th. Japan Society’s Daniel Rosenblum talks with NYU’s Ed Lincoln about the implications a DPJ win over the long-ruling Liberal Democratic Party would have for Japan’s economic and foreign policy, including its relations with the United States and China.
