China and Japan are two major societies in the East Asian macroregion who exert tremendous economic, political, and cultural influence on the regional environment that ultimately impacts the world. China and Japan also play important roles in international negotiations to deal with climate change even as they promote sustained economic growth for their populace. This course examines the social, economic, and diplomatic contexts for understanding environmental issues in China and Japan and how best to integrate these issues into K-12 curriculum.

On 2/16-2/18, the course will be held at China Institute.
On 2/19-2/20, the course will be at Japan Society.

Tuition: $200
