About Ultraman
A 130 foot tall red and silver Giant of Light, Ultraman came to Earth from across the galaxy to protect humanity from invading aliens and giant monsters called Kaiju. Helmed by Tsuburaya Productions, the Ultraman Universe first debuted in 1966 with the launch of the television series Ultra Q. For nearly 60 years, the Ultraman franchise has spawned a record number of TV shows, films, video games and more. Tsuburaya’s partnership with Japan Society spotlights Ultraman’s surging popularity, after taking the U.S. by storm in 2024 with the animated feature film Ultraman: Rising, which landed on Netflix, gaining attention from both legacy fans and new audiences.
Ultraman at American Dream
For even more Ultraman, attendees are encouraged to visit the American Dream for Ultraman events on November 15-16 and 22-23 from Tsuburaya Productions and Bandai Namco.
