The Japanese Art Society of America presents: An Introduction to Japanese Cloisonné, its History and Techniques

This lecture will focus on the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the period that has been of most interest to historians and collectors. Various cloisonné techniques will be explained. The presentation will feature several artists and trace the development of artistic styles.
