We are pleased to announce that Brian Moynihan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Bank of America, will be the speaker at the Japan Society’s Annual Dinner to be held on Wednesday, June 1 at the Hilton New York. The reception begins at 6:30 pm and the dinner program at 7:30 pm. Attire will be black-tie optional. Each year the Annual Dinner attracts approximately 700 prominent business and diplomatic leaders. Since interest in attending this event is high, we urge you to make your reservation as soon as possible. Please complete and return the registration form by May 1.

2015 Annual Dinner Overview
On Thursday, June 11, 2015 approximately 730 guests gathered at the Hilton New York for the Society’s annual fundraising gala. The keynote speech was delivered by Steven A. Kandarian, Chairman, President & CEO of MetLife, Inc., with CNN Chief National Security Correspondent Jim Sciutto serving as Master of Ceremonies. Okinawan duo SAKISHIMA meeting, comprised of Yukito Ara (vocals and sanshin) and Isamu Shimoji (vocals and guitar), provided the evening’s entertainment. Internationally acclaimed multimedia artist Yoko Ono accepted the Japan Society Award via video address, followed by a short message delivered by award presenter Dr. Alexandra Munroe, Samsung Senior Curator, Asian Art at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
